cesar delgado rodriguez
is a Mexican-American designer living in New York city.
He is a licensed architect in Mexico and holds a B.Arch. from Tecnologico de Monterrey where he graduated with honors in 2014. His studies and professional practice expand through Mexico, Colombia, Germany and the United States.
Cesar obtained the Columbia University GSAPP Outstanding Talent Scholarship and graduated from the Master of Science in Architecture and Urban design at Columbia University in 2022 where he was recognized with the Honor Award for Excellence in Urban Design. He is a finalist of the RAMSA fellowship 2022 with his proposal "Strengthened by Collective Care". He started his independent practice in 2019 working on architecture and urban design focusing on re-envisioning the intersections between space, ecology and technology with the goal of contributing to more resilient and equitatibe communities.
In parallel to his independent practice, he works as an Associate Urban Designer with the New York City Planning Department and is Teaching Associate of the capstone studio Water Urbanism at the MSAUD program at Columbia University.
